After more than 7 years and and 127 Interesting Interviews, it's time to retire this section of the Interesting Though Elementary blog. From members of my local scion, The Parallel Case of St. Louis to some of the most well-known names in our hobby, I feel like I've helped to shine a light on some of the amazing folks in Sherlockiana.
After my 100th interview, I surveyed those results for a presentation I gave to The Torists International, S. S. in Chicago that was later printed in The Sherlock Holmes Review: 2024 Sherlockian Annual. After that, I started thinking about wrapping this series up but there were still SO MANY interesting Sherlockians out there! (And of course, there are a ton I never got to.)
So, as we wrap up these interviews, take a look at the list below. You'll find lots of names you recognize, but more importantly, I hope there are some you don't. Get to know those folks a little. Go back and revisit the interviews with some of your old friends. Spend time with the Sherlockians who are no longer with us in their pieces.
